biography

Branka Ridicki was born in 1966 in Zadar, Croatia. She graduated History of Art and Italian Language and Literature at Zagreb University, Croatia.  Branka is professional painter since beginning of 2001.
In 2002/2003 she moves to Sri Lanka. From 2005 to 2006 she lived and worked in New York. From 2007 to 2008 she lived and worked in Cairo.
At the present she lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia. She is a member of International Group of Contemporary Artists 'ConnectingArt' and also a member of Croatian Association of Artists.


other professional experience

From 1991 she works also as independent documentary film producer and director. In 2002 Branka was Architecture Researcher at the Oblikovanje Art Conservation Centre in Zagreb, exploring ancient churches and theatres in Croatia. In 2002/3 she taught History of Art and History of Interior Design at the international Academy of Design in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In 2004 she was the Art@Net Project Leader at Carnet (Croatian Academic Research Network) in Zagreb, entrusted with compiling the multimedia Presentation of Croatian Art.
